Hi, I have a Holden Astra convertible and the roof won't
open.
I need to install a baby seat in the back
have it to be bolted at the back of the cars back seat underneath
the shelf at the back of the back seat. For that to happen the roof
needs to be opened and which will then allow the back flap to open in
order to do it. I know you can manually open my roof with an Allen
key in order to do that.
The only thing is when you turn the
Allen key it no longer opens the roof that way and just makes a
clicking sound can you please help me I am low on money so don't
really have any/ much for repair but I do need my sons baby seat put in
my car so I can start taking him out
Thanks
Lucy

ALNO : How did you roof stop working ?
Lucy: Oh the roof stopped and my boyfriend watch a couple of you tube videos and he fixed with a couple of screws, It opened ok for a couple of weeks and now it just makes a clicking noise
ALNO : So does the roof come off the windscreen ?
Lucy : No it does not move just clicks

What is the point to fix some thing for it to have such a short life span.
When you don't fix something properly that you don't want to use your roof as you know it will break again and it takes the enjoyed out of owning an Astra Convertible
